WE WILL GET YOU BACK TO DOING WHAT YOU LOVE WITH A COMPREHENSIVE APPROACH

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • ASSESS & NAVIGATE

A thorough evaluation of your movement, strength, flexibility and review of your goals and health history will be conducted during the initial visit. We’ll assess your posture, range of motion, and any areas of pain or discomfort to identify the root cause of your issues. This helps us create a personalized treatment plan to address your specific needs and improve your overall function.

  • BODY WORK

Soft tissue massage is at the center of how we treat at APEX. Our healing touch can help you come out of pain, correct muscle imbalances and make strides in your rehab journey. Body work is also key in recovery from hard workouts, games and stressors from everyday life.

  • TRIGGER POINT DRY NEEDLING

Dry needling is an effective treatment where fine, sterile needles are inserted into tight muscle areas or trigger points to alleviate pain, reduce tension, and enhance mobility. We use this technique to promote healing, improve circulation, and restore normal function. Unlike acupuncture, dry needling is focused on addressing musculoskeletal pain and muscle imbalances. This is a valuable tool we commonly use in conjunction with body work.

  • RESTORATIVE EXERCISES

In addition to manual therapy, our team will address your muscular imbalances and impairments with therapeutic corrective exercises. You will be instructed on proper form and given an explanation as to why they are helpful. Whether you have a home gym or no equipment at all, we will make the exercises easy to accomplish outside of the clinic. A plan will also be sent to you after new exercises are added to your home program.

  • PLAN YOUR PATH

Any goal requires a detailed plan. Our team will construct a personalized plan with exercises and frequency of sessions to help you achieve your rehab and performance goals. We will consistently assess your progress to make sure you are on track. We dedicate ourselves to maintaining a close working relationship with our clients outside of the clinic to ensure optimal results.

  • REACH YOUR PEAK

The journey doesn’t end after you’ve reached the top. We celebrate our accomplishments, but we continuously work on improving our well being to reach our full potential. Our team will be with you every step of the way and will always be a resource to you after your goal has been met.

FAQs

  • No, physical therapists are specialists in the musculoskeletal system. We’re skilled at pinpointing movement dysfunctions and imbalances that could be contributing to current injuries or potentially lead to future ones. Along with injury rehabilitation, we also offer performance therapy, combining hands-on manual techniques and corrective exercises to optimize your body and improve performance.

  • No, we have the ability to assess, diagnose and treat injuries without a script from a doctor. In most cases, you can experience relief and get better faster by coming here first. We will refer you out to a doctor when we feel it is appropriate.

  • We are an out-of-network provider, which means we don’t work directly with insurance companies. The traditional insurance setup doesn’t allow us to provide the personalized care and attention we feel you deserve.

However, many of our patients are able to get reimbursed by their insurance providers, and they can use their HSA to help cover the cost.

To find out if you're eligible for reimbursement, simply call your insurance company and ask, “What are my out-of-network physical therapy benefits?” It’s usually a quick call to the number on the back of your card. If you have a PPO (instead of an HMO), there’s a good chance they’ll cover part or all of your sessions.

We’ll provide all the necessary documentation and forms to help you with the reimbursement process.

By not being tied to the traditional insurance model, we’re able to offer you more one-on-one time, which can help you recover more quickly. While many PT clinics see you 3 times a week with multiple patients at once, we typically see you 1-2 times a week, which often leads to fewer visits overall. When you consider your deductible, co-pays, and the additional visits needed at other clinics, you may actually end up paying less with us in the long run.
